Prisma for iOS has already topped the popularity charts in various countries with over one million daily users while avid Android users await the public release of the app.
Prisma enables users to convert pictures into work of arts with sophisticated filters that use neural networks and artificial intelligence to accomplish the feat.
Here’s how the concept works
Just upload your favourite picture from the camera roll or capture a fresh one and then hit next.
You can now pick the filter of your choice among Impression, Curtain, Running in the Storm, Mondrain, etc.
After choosing the filter, define the intensity of the filter to be applied to your photo. In a matter of seconds, the filter will be activated to deliver incredible results.
Here’s what Prisma Labs, the developer of Prisma app, announced in a recent Facebook post:
“Prisma for Android is coming! Sign up for our Newsletter to be the first to know about the release. http://prisma-ai.com/.”
Meanwhile, Prisma CEO and Co-founder Alexey Moiseenkov revealed that the company is creating new features including video filters. Consequently, he posted a new Facebook Live video showcasing a black and white Prisma filter and this could actually hint the possibility of Facebook acquiring Prisma Labs in the near future.
